When Not Enough Meets Jesus 08/23/26

Aug 23, 2026    Dr. Tim Steele

In Mark 6:30–45, Jesus meets weary disciples, sees a vulnerable crowd with compassion, and challenges the disciples’ belief that their limited resources excuse them from serving. By multiplying five loaves and two fish, he shows that disciples are not called to be the source of provision, but to bring what they have, obey his direction, and faithfully distribute what only he can supply. The sermon calls believers to receive rest without guilt, see interruptions through Jesus’ eyes, offer their limitations to him, and take the next obedient step with open hands.
