At First Baptist Church Mesquite, we seek to share the hope of Jesus, strengthen believers, serve our neighbors, and help people throughout Mesquite grow as disciples of Christ.

The Vision

The vision of First Baptist Church of Mesquite is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

How We Fulfill Our Mission And Vision

We exist to make disciples by studying the Bible, serving others, sharing our faith, and following Jesus together.

  • As we study the Bible, we hear God’s voice, grow in truth, and learn how to live in a way that honors Him;
  • As we serve others, we put our faith into action, reflecting Christ’s love through humility and compassion;
  • As we share our faith, we allow the life-changing hope of Jesus to overflow into our words and everyday lives;
  • And we do all of this together, because we were never meant to follow Jesus alone—encouraging one another, carrying each other’s burdens, and living as a people on mission rather than just attending a place.
