Baptism is an important step of obedience for every believer in Jesus Christ. At First Baptist Church, we believe baptism does not make a person a Christian, but it is a public declaration that someone has already placed their faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord. 
Through baptism by immersion, a believer identifies with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ and gives testimony to the new life they have received through Him. If you are ready to take this next step, we would be honored to walk with you and help you prepare for baptism.
