What The Storm Reveals In Your Life 08/30/26

In Mark 6:46–56, Jesus sends His disciples into a storm, watches them struggle from the mountain, and comes to them walking on the water, revealing His divine authority over creation and His faithful presence with His people. Although the disciples had just witnessed the feeding of the 5,000, their amazement exposed that they still had not understood who Jesus truly was. The passage teaches that hardship can arise while we are obeying God, that Jesus’ delay does not mean His absence, and that fear must not determine how we interpret our circumstances. When we cannot see what Jesus is doing, we must remember what He has already shown us about who He is, continue obeying Him, make prayer a priority, and bring hurting people into His presence.
