The Danger of Hearing Truth Without Obeying 08/09/26

Herod Antipas respected John the Baptist, listened to him, and was troubled by his message, yet he refused to repent of his sin. His pride, fear of others, and desire to protect his reputation eventually led him into deeper compromise and John’s execution. The sermon calls us to receive God’s warnings as gracious opportunities to repent, obey promptly, and turn to Christ rather than merely admiring the truth while refusing to let it change our lives.
