Dear Church Family,

Summary: The sermon explored Jesus sending out his twelve disciples two by two in Mark 6:7-13, examining what it means to move from being a receiver of God's grace to an active participant in His mission. The disciples were sent out with virtually nothing - no food, no money, no extra clothing - as a lesson in radical dependence on God. Monday: From Spectator to Participant

Reading: Mark 6:7-13

Devotional:
Devotional: The disciples spent months watching Jesus heal, teach, and cast out demons. Then came the moment Jesus stopped saying "watch me" and started saying "go." God never intends for faith to remain a spectator sport. At some point, every follower of Christ must transition from receiving to going. You have witnessed enough. You have learned enough to begin. The same God who equipped twelve ordinary fishermen, tax collectors, and doubters is ready to equip you. Stop waiting for perfect conditions. Identify one area of service and take the first step today.

Tuesday: Sent Together, Never Alone

Reading: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, which describes the strength found when two people work together rather than in isolation.

Devotional: 
Jesus deliberately sent his disciples out two by two. He never dispatched anyone into ministry alone. This was not accidental. God designed his mission to be carried out in community because no single person carries every gift needed for the work. When you serve alongside another believer, your weaknesses are covered and your strengths are multiplied. Lone-ranger Christianity is not only exhausting, it is unbiblical. Look around your church. Who might God be calling you to serve alongside? Reach out to that person this week and explore what you might accomplish together for the Kingdom.

Wednesday: Dependence Over Preparation

Reading: Proverbs 16:9, which affirms that while a person may plan his course, God ultimately directs his steps.

Devotional: 
Jesus told his disciples to travel without extra food, money, or clothing. This was not a permanent financial strategy -- it was a lesson in radical dependence. Later, he told those same disciples to bring their money bags and provisions. Context matters. God calls us to plan wisely, but never to trust our plans more than we trust him. The danger is not in preparing -- the danger is in preparing so thoroughly that you no longer feel your need for God. Whatever you are planning right now, hold it loosely and invite God into every detail of it.

Thursday: Faithful Witness, Released Outcomes

Reading: 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, where Paul explains that one person plants, another waters, but God alone produces the growth.

Devotional: 
Jesus told his disciples that when a town refused to listen, they were simply to shake the dust from their feet and move on. He did not instruct them to argue longer, preach louder, or carry guilt for the rejection. Your responsibility ends at faithful witness. The response belongs entirely to God. If you have a spouse, child, friend, or coworker who has not yet come to faith, release the false guilt you may be carrying. You cannot force anyone into the Kingdom. Love them consistently, pray for them fervently, share your story honestly, and trust God with the rest.

Friday: The Whole Gospel for the Whole Person

Reading: Romans 2:4, which teaches that it is the kindness of God that leads people toward repentance.

Devotional: 
The disciples went out preaching repentance and performing acts of mercy. Both were essential. A gospel that only speaks of judgment produces fear without hope. A gospel that only speaks of grace without repentance produces comfort without transformation. The whole truth is this: we have all fallen short of God's standard, we all need a Savior, and God's love is so extravagant that he provided one. When you share your faith, tell both sides of that story. Begin with your need, and end with his grace. That is the testimony that changes lives, because it is the one that changed yours.
