ELDER AND DEACON NOMINATIONS
First Baptist Church is now accepting nominations for members to serve as elders and deacons.
Elders provide spiritual leadership through prayer, teaching, shepherding and oversight. Deacons serve the church by meeting practical needs, caring for people and supporting the unity and ministry of the congregation.
As you prayerfully consider your nomination, look for individuals who demonstrate godly character, spiritual maturity, faithfulness, wisdom and a servant’s heart. Nominees should meet the biblical qualifications described in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection. Each nominee will be contacted and considered according to the church’s established process and bylaws.

Join us for “Annie” at Virgin Valley Theater! You may choose either a lunch show or a dinner show. There will be a sign-up sheet available for each option.

The league begins at 1:30 PM and is a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship, meet new people, and spend time together on the course. We play a four person scramble format. We call this a fun league because it is more about fellowship than competition.
