First Baptist Church exists to help students take their next step in their relationship with Jesus. Our desire is that every high school student in Mesquite feels welcomed, known, and connected to a community that reflects the unconditional love of Christ.
Through our Sunday worship services, Life Groups, biblical teaching, and student gatherings, students have the opportunity to grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, ask honest questions, and have a lot of fun along the way. We also offer camps, special events, and opportunities to serve throughout the year that help students experience God, find community, and live with purpose.

Sunday mornings at First Baptist Church are a great opportunity for students to worship, connect, and grow in their faith. Whether you are new to church, exploring what it means to follow Jesus, or looking for a place to belong, we want you to know there is a place for you here.
Our Sunday worship service is designed to help students experience God, hear biblical teaching that connects to everyday life, and be part of a church family that cares about the next generation. Come sit with friends, bring your family, and discover how God can use this season of your life to help you grow in faith, purpose, and community.

Life Groups For Students

Life is better when you do not have to walk through it alone. Our Student Life Groups are designed to help students build real friendships, ask honest questions, study God’s Word, and grow in their faith together.
Whether you are new to church, still figuring out what you believe, or ready to take your next step with Jesus, there is a place for you here. Life Groups give students a safe and welcoming space to connect, be encouraged, and discover how faith makes a difference in everyday life.
